Goa Tourism to organise ‘Freedom Ride’

Goa Tourism will be organising ‘Freedom Ride’, an exclusive bike rally on August 15, 2016, which will give bikers an experience of Goa while exploring its treasures including churches, rivers, beaches, temples, villages and more. Over 100 bikers are expected to participate the rally.

The charges include Rs 800 per person for advance bookings and Rs 1000 for spot bookings. Snacks and lunch will be provided at Fort Tirakol Heritage Hotel and every rider will be provided with a t-shirt.
The expedition will start at 9.00 am from Paryatan Bhavan, Patto Panjim and will conclude at Shiroda, Goa Highway Junction. The route map will be shared with the participants on the day of the rally.
The most interesting aspect of the rally is said to be the quiz competition, which will be held pre-lunch. Renowned historian Sanjeev Sardesai will guide the bikers and give insights into Goa’s history, culture and traditions during the rally.
